Finishing your first novel

I have contributed to Steven James Searce's post on finishing your first novel over at the Inkpunks blog.

All of the things I list are completely true. And when I was just starting out, I obeyed none of them.

Just as an FYI. I figured out the rules because I completely fucked them up at the start.

Which everyone should feel free to do. That's the only way you figure out they're the rules.
