Broken Time Blues reviews

I've heard before that writing short stories is a bit like throwing rose petals into the Grand Canyon, and waiting to hear a boom: often there is no sound, no nothing, and they are forgotten.

BUT! That is why you put them into anthologies, which have much more of a chance of making a boom. I guess it's more like throwing a brick into the Grand Canyon, or maybe the rose petals are explosive, or packaged into 300-pound wads? I don't know, the metaphor kind of breaks down here.

Anywhoo, BROKEN TIME BLUES, an anthology of speculative fiction set in the 1920's in which I and my friends are featured, has received two nice reviews! One from Lillian Cohen-Moore, and the other from J.R. Murdock.

My favorite quote would be from Cohen-Moore, who puts it thusly:
Broken Time Blues ends with A Drink for Teddy Ford, by Robert Jackson Bennett.  It’s as bitter as the garnish on Teddy’s drink, and a suiting end to the anthology, no matter how sad the story got. And I can tell you that story got pretty fucking sad.
She should read my other shit.
